1. About LectureIQ
LectureIQ is operated by Ruby Huggins (ABN 68 280 756 725), trading as BLEECH, located on the Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia. Contact: ruby@bleech.au.
2. Service description
LectureIQ is an AI-powered study tool that analyses lecture transcripts, unit outlines, tutorial sheets, and assignment briefs to generate predicted exam topics with confidence scores. The service uses natural language processing to identify patterns in course materials that correlate with exam content.
3. Prediction disclaimer
LectureIQ provides study predictions based on statistical analysis of your course materials. These predictions are not guarantees of exam content. Exam design is at the sole discretion of your course coordinator and institution. LectureIQ does not have access to actual exam papers before they are administered. Prediction accuracy varies by course, institution, and the completeness of materials you provide. You should use LectureIQ as a supplementary study tool alongside your own study methods, not as a replacement for comprehensive exam preparation.
4. Platform compatibility
Automated lecture transcript integration currently supports Panopto only. Students at universities using other lecture recording platforms (Echo360, Kaltura, Mediasite, or others) can use LectureIQ by manually uploading transcript files (VTT, SRT, TXT), PDFs, DOCX files, and images (PNG, JPG). LectureIQ is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Panopto, any university, or any learning management system provider.
5. Subscription and payment
LectureIQ is offered as a monthly subscription at $14.99 USD per month. Payment is processed by Stripe. Your subscription renews automatically each month unless cancelled. You may cancel your subscription at any time from your dashboard settings. Upon cancellation, you retain access until the end of your current billing period. No partial refunds are provided for unused portions of a billing period.
6. Refund policy
Under Australian Consumer Law, you are entitled to a refund if the service is significantly different from its description, or if it fails to do what it is supposed to do. If you believe the service does not meet its described functionality, contact ruby@bleech.au within 14 days of your purchase. We will assess your claim and provide a refund where the service has not performed as described. This does not affect your statutory rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
7. Your content and data
You retain ownership of all files you upload to LectureIQ. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your content. Your files are processed by AI to generate predictions and are stored securely with encryption. We do not share, sell, or use your content for any purpose other than providing the service to you. Upon account deletion, your data is permanently removed within 90 days. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to use LectureIQ to facilitate academic misconduct, including but not limited to submitting AI-generated content as your own work, sharing predictions with other students in violation of your institution's academic integrity policies, or using the service to gain unfair advantage in ways prohibited by your university. LectureIQ is a study tool. It helps you identify what to study. How you study and what you submit is your responsibility.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, LectureIQ's liability for any claim arising from or related to the service is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim. LectureIQ is not liable for any exam results, academic outcomes, or consequential losses arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
